Day Seven: Nothing Left. Go Right. Nothing Right. Go Left.

Today’s Prompt: Write a post based on the contrast between two things — whether people, objects, emotions, places, or something else.

Today’s twist: write your post in the form of a dialogue.

What the Right said to the Left

The one’s who write with the right are more dominant
And the numbers of those who don’t aren’t insignificant.

The right handed may be more numerous than the left.
But with the question of art, we are definitely deft.

Art thrives only for art’s sake
A leftist is more than just fake.

We may be the set of minority – but we have diligence
And more often than not we have the Spiral of Silence.

You remain quiet because you are not right.
And that was indeed a pun intended, dear-recessive-trait.

We remain quiet because we are radical
Not playing with puns – but being inspirational.

Doesn’t the mere fact that you are the minority
Prove that you are unwanted in the society?

We are reduced, not by natural selection.
But by the process of human evolution.

What do you mean? We don’t understand.
Are you fabricating another story in wonderland?

Human’s don’t change themselves, they change their surroundings.
And end up, creating less than what they have been damaging.

We make everything to suit one side
And forcing the rest to silently abide.

Doors, pens, and even a button
Are all accessible to you, brethren.

Even teachers force being right onto children
But that should stick to morals and not their pen.

And that way, we are slowly stamped out,
Left with nothing, except an everlasting doubt.

If both sides of the coin are just as useful,
Why is the right alone considered as usual?

A fictional take on a verbal war between being right handed and being left handed. Has a few puns.

And in case you didn’t get it, the left-aligned words are from, left-handers, and correspondingly, the right on the right side.
